So I stayed hot yesterday as Fresno State blew out San Jose State by 30 and obviously covered with ease, bringing me to 54-43 (+9.87u) in college basketball this season. Is this game a trap? Maybe. We’ll see, but I can’t pass up the obvious value.
Arkansas (#39) -10 over Georgia (#206)
This feels more dangerous than it should because just last week, Georgia won outright against a talented (but inconsistent) Alabama team that were 14.5 point favorites. However, the Razorbacks come in 16-5 overall (5-3 conference) and are taking on a 6-15 (1-7) Bulldog team that has nothing to show for this season besides the one outlier of a win against the Crimson Tide. Besides that, most recently they’ve lost to Vanderbilt twice, and gotten blown out by Auburn, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Kentucky, and even Gardner-Webb.
Arkansas has shown themselves to be a much more consistent if not overall better team than Alabama so far this year avoiding major upsets for the most part, with their opponents average ranking between their 5 losses coming out to about #78 (the lowest being #116, still much higher than Georgia). For these reasons, I’m rolling with the significantly better team to cover tonight in Athens to keep the hot streak going.
