The Browns were a bit of a sweat but Vikings/Bears was a breeze as expected, as I hit on my Monday Night football teaser last night! Tonight I’m back and staying hot and with both favorites being about a touchdown favorite, that’s the action I’m teasing down. Also if anyone is curious, you pay more juice on a ML parlay (about -125).
Rams -1 over Seahawks, Eagles -1 over WFT -110 (6 point tease)
After their embarrassing loss to the 49ers a few weeks back, the Rams have gotten back on the right track. After falling in a close one on the road in Green Bay (the best NFC team in my opinion), they dominated the Jaguars as they should and took out the Cardinals on the road. The Rams are also getting players back from the COVID-19 list after negative tests while the Seahawks list is growing.
Now they’re back home with a chance to essentially clinch a playoff spot and put themselves in a decent position to win their division, while the inconsistent 5-8 Seahawks are all but eliminated from playoff contention. On top of that, one could argue the Seahawks haven’t beaten a “good” team since their Week 1 victory over the Colts, so while I don’t necessarily feel comfortable in the Rams covering the touchdown in a divisional game, I’m still confident they’ll come out on top.
The Eagles/WFT game (both 6-7) is must win for both teams, as they Eagles go from a 26% chance of making the playoffs to 38% with a win, and down to 5% with a loss. WFT similarily sits at 20% right now, goes to 42% with a win, and down to
Unfortunately for WFT, they’re on the short end of the COVID-19 stick, as it appears starter Taylor Heinicke certainly won’t play and if backup Kyle Allen can’t test negative in time, it’ll be former Patriots practice squad QB Garrett Gilbert, with Kyle Shurmur and Jordan Ta’amu being the other options. The Eagles are a better overall team in my opinion with both healthy, so while I still don’t feel great about Philly covering a touchdown, even an average effort tonight from Jalen Hurts and the defense should be enough to come away with the W.
