The Halloween slate ruined my wallet so bad I was sick the following weekend. Sorry I had nothing for you all last week, I’m sure you were fine on your own but it’s nice to think you needed me. Good week this week, big on ACC and B1G and the teams that still are fighting for bowls and teams that have just been WAGONS against the spread cause we only know what we know. Lets get to it.
UNLV/Hawaii, UNLV +3.5 (4PM EST)
A team that hasn’t gotten a spotlight in football in 10 years. The UNLV Rebels are coming off of their first win this season and goes on to play Hawaii this week. UNLV is 4-2 ATS in their last 6, Hawaii is 1-5-1 in their last 7 against UNLV. Hawaii’s defense is not very good this year, giving up over 30 points a game. UNLV has a terrible record but have played in close ones all year in an 8 point loss to ranked Fresno State and 7 point loss to undefeated UTSA. I think UNLV rides the hype train this week against a struggling Hawaii team and takes this one as a home puppy.
Michigan/Penn State, Michigan ML -125 (12PM EST)
People are going to say, Harbaugh can’t win the big ones. While you are correct, Penn State is not a big one this year. While it is at Penn State, the only game that matters moving forward to this Wolverines team is Ohio State. They will walk all over the Penn State Nittany Lions with ease. Michigan scores more points, allows less points, Michigan is 5-1 in the conference, PSU is 3-3, Michigan’s turnover margin is better. There is no reason for Michigan to not walk into Beaver and scare them out of their shoes. From a Michigan fan, I apologize if my bias gets in the way but “What happens if we win out, huh”?
Virginia Tech/Duke, Virginia Tech -11 (330PM EST)
I don’t think I have talked about the Hokies in a good light this year. Enter Sandman is one of the most electric walk-out songs in college football and even though it isn’t a night game, the home atmosphere will play a fun part in this game. They are coming off a tough loss against Boston College, but I think will be used as fuel. Duke is on a 5 game losing streak and has yet to win a game on the road, including a loss to Charlotte and 3 more that they have not come within 31 points. I believe in VT and not as much in Duke football.
Bonus: Georgia/Tennessee O56, Purdue +21, Syracuse +3, Miami(FL) -2.5, Boston College +2, UTSA -33
