Indiana Hoosiers -24.5 vs. Eastern Michigan
Happy opening night of Men’s College Basketball. I’m sure everyone is ready to see what it’s like to have college gyms packed again after TWO years of absence – I know I am.
To start off, Michael Durr is 7’ tall and has started 80 games in Division 1 basketball – a transfer from USF. Trayce Jackson-Davis is a returning 6’9 forward who averaged a little over 19 points/game and 9 rebound/game. The Hoosiers have two returning guards in Franklin and Durham who averaged over 11 points per contest.
Eastern Michigan has a brand new head coach after going 6-12 last year. Although they did bring in a Butler transfer who stands 6’9, and has some experience, that is all the talented experience EMU really has – only one of two who has full personnel info updated on ESPN. This team is young and doesn’t seem to have any identity. I won’t see them finding it on opening night in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers have a height advantage, scoring advantage, and home court advantage in the first night of college hoops. Let’s take it old school and punch Indiana (-24.5) against EMU.
