Michigan State/Indiana, Michigan St -4.5, (12PM EST)
Michigan State, even though I hate saying it, is playing really well this season. I don’t know if they will be able to keep their focus for one more game on the road, but I don’t think Indiana is the challenge ready to bring them down. Penix Jr. is still pretty banged up for IU and the Michigan State pass rush will be a lot to handle for the Hoosiers offensive line. Indiana likes to hold the ball which scares me and probably makes this a lower scoring game. However, this Spartan offense is full of talent and explosive players which will be very scary and will make IU play defense the entire game.
Should be a low scoring game, the line at 48.5 isn’t half bad there either, I’m going to take the -4.5 for MSU.
Fresno State/Wyoming, Fresno St -3.5 (3:30PM EST)
The Fresno State Bulldogs are the real deal. They pass the ball really well; Jalen Cropper is a heck of a receiver, and their attack has already scored 20 passing touchdowns on the season. They score like crazy averaging 39 points a game, coming off a road loss which is why this spread is so low I believe. Wyoming’s defense is struggling, while their run game is solid, scoring slowly while the other team is scoring quickly is not the best equation to winning. Fresno State is a tough team that competed with Oregon and beat UCLA on the road already, I think last week was just a hiccup in their successful season.
They are 4-2 against the spread while Wyoming is 1-3-1, take the Bulldogs -3.5
Ole Miss/Tennessee, Ole Miss -2.5 (7:30PM EST)
Lane Kiffin was pissed that they won the way Ole Miss did last weekend against Arkansas. This defense has been the opposite of impressive. On the other side of the ball, Matt Corral leads a powerful charge. He has been stellar this year and the clear Heisman favorite in my opinion. 1500 yards, 12 TDs, 0 turnovers is wildly impressive through just 5 games with two of those games being against top 10 teams. The danger in this is because of the Tennessee offense. They are now 3rd in the SEC in yards and have figured it out with Hendon Hooker at quarterback. I just don’t believe in Tennessee yet; they haven’t played anyone real yet.
Ole Miss has my hopefully future quarterback and Lane Kiffin running the show. Take the Rebels -2.5
Bonus: Boston College +3, Oklahoma -13.5, Rutgers -2, Virginia -10.5
