We were so close to going positive on these last week, but the James Robinson 1 catch for -2 yards is what shot us in the foot. “Fade Brewer” continues because this game seems like it will be fun but on a short week who knows how this game will go and if it will be the highly anticipated shootout we foresee it to be.
Russell Wilson O268.5 Pass Yards -110
The Seattle defense isn’t as great as the Legion of Boom we once knew. They will be giving up a good chunk of points which will require Russell Wilson to throw the football to stay in the game. With Chris Carson trending ‘Out’ as of 2 o’clock, they won’t have much help in the backfield either. Russ has thrown for this mark 2 of the 4 weeks. In this division every win counts and the Hawks are going to need Russ to reach this mark if they want any chance of winning.
Matt Stafford O2.5 TDs +138
28 is the number you need to know. That’s Seattle’s pass defense ranking so far this season. Stafford has hit this 2.5 mark twice this season and both of the game’s he missed the mark he recorded an interception. The Seahawks have had zero interceptions this season and I don’t see Stafford making many bad decisions against this weaker secondary. The Rams only have 2 rushing TD’s all season and the points have to come from somewhere as usual.
Tyler Higbee O3.5 Recs -125
Higbee floats around this number on a regular basis. I think the Rams passing offense and McVey’s creativity certainly continues to show itself despite the bad loss last week. Seattle always has bad defense against tight ends and forget about them. This season allowing a little over 8 targets to TEs and Higbee catches everything in his zone catching 15 of his 18 targets this year. Expect Stafford to find this guy a couple times tonight hopefully more than 3 times.
Russell Wilson +370 TD
Last but not least, my why not pick. Russell Wilson rushing TD is a possibility. With Chris Carson out and the Rams success in the red zone on defense, I don’t see a reason not to take the long shot on Russ scrambling in for one tonight. If you close your eyes and imagine, 24-20 Russell Wilson driving down the field, Seahawks in the red zone, Aaron Donald on his tail, he takes off towards the End Zone, he leaps…
C’mon I know you see it. It could happen. He ran for his first one all season last week in a similar situation early in the game, why not take a rather large plus money on a fun bet tonight.
