ARI -5 over SF
We have no faith in the 49ers offense to put up points and the Cardinals have continued to show their potential explosiveness on offense.
The trend tends to be the teams out of the playoff hunt are less likely to cover in these late meaningless games, so we like the Cardinals to cover.
CLE -9.5 over NYJ
The Browns are rolling and show no signs of slowing down in this historic season for them.
We expect this to continue as they finish strong and the Jets get back to their blowout losing ways.
TEN +3.5 over GB
The Packers very well may be the best team in the NFC, but they have played one of the easiest schedules in the league so it’s tough to say.
The Titans have quietly been the most consistent team in the AFC after the Chiefs.
If they can run they ball and control the pace of the game, they have a great chance of winning or at least the game being decided by a field goal.
NE +7 over BUF
This is our wild card pick of the week. Buffalo is hot, the Pats are 6-8 and out of the playoff hunt, everything points to Buffalo rolling.
But then you think about the Patriots being a touchdown underdog. At home. On Monday Night Football. Playing a Bills team due for a down week and playing for very little with the Chiefs likely locking up the bye and #1 seed.
Maybe the Bills still pull it out, but we see a surprisingly close game.
